MATTHEW A. LAPIDES, CFP^®

Managing Director, Xnergy Financial

Mr. Lapides is a Managing Director at Xnergy Financial. Mr. Lapides identifies and analyzes new investment banking opportunities for the firm’s corporate finance team.

Mr. Lapides had previously served on the executive team of a private bank and ran their Wealth and Trust Divisions at multiple locations around the country. He also served for 12 years at Merrill Lynch as a wealth advisor and held a range of leadership roles within the domestic and international market segments of the firm for 10 of those years. He also spent many years involved in structuring U.S. and Chinese joint ventures in a variety of industries, where he set up a company manufacturing bicycles in Asia and achieved distribution across the U.S., Japan, Australia and Europe. He currently maintains his FINRA Series 7, 66, 9, 10, 23, Life Health and VA licenses and CFP® designation. Mr. Lapides is based in Miami, FL where he lives with his wife and young child. Mr. Lapides received his Bachelors of Science in Business and Economics in May 1991 from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.
